Roman Brunner is an entrepreneur, executive coach, investor and business transition strategist with more than 35 years of international leadership experience across the technology, cybersecurity and professional services sectors. Based between Switzerland and Tuscany, Italy, he works with entrepreneurs, founders, CEOs, executive teams, families and organisations across Europe and internationally, helping them navigate business transitions, leadership challenges and personal transformation.

He has held senior executive roles at a Fortune 500, NYSE-listed IT services company, leading cross-border teams and strategic operations throughout Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States. His global perspective and operational experience have been central to helping organisations navigate complexity, organisational change and sustainable growth.

In the early 2000s, Roman co-founded a European software company before acquiring and growing an international cybersecurity business, which he successfully exited through a strategic sale to a global market leader. His expertise includes business transition coaching, post-merger integration, succession planning, go-to-market strategy and guiding organisations through periods of transformation and accelerated growth.

As a long-standing member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization), Roman has served in numerous leadership roles and is an experienced YPO Forum moderator, retreat facilitator and moderator trainer. Through this work, he has facilitated confidential peer forums, leadership retreats and executive discussions for senior business leaders around leadership, business growth and personal development.

Today, Roman is the founder of Roman Brunner Advisory Services, a boutique executive coaching and advisory practice specialising in business transition coaching, executive coaching, personal transformation and leadership development. His approach combines strategic clarity with deep personal insight, helping clients navigate complexity with purpose, resilience and authentic leadership.

A Swiss national, Roman is fluent in German and English and conversant in Italian and French. He divides his time between Switzerland and Tuscany, Italy, where he lives with his wife. Working internationally with clients across Europe and beyond, he also facilitates executive retreats in Tuscany, providing an inspiring setting for personal transformation, leadership development and strategic reflection.

Roman works with clients across Switzerland, Italy, the United Kingdom, Europe and internationally through executive coaching, business transition advisory, transformational retreats and bespoke leadership programmes. Outside of his work, Roman enjoys hiking, skiing and sharing the culinary traditions of Switzerland and Tuscany with family and friends.
